I (heart) Placebo

Ontem durante o show do Placebo (que eu consegui ir apesar de ter sido relapsa e não ter comprado o ingresso com antecedência) eu tive bastante tempo para pensar. Como eu amo aquela banda! Como amo aquelas músicas! O show não foi tão emocionante como o de 2005, muito menos chocante como o de 2000. Mas ainda assim valeu cada centavo e cada minuto.

Ouvi-los tocar a cover da Kate Bush, Runnin Up That Hill, foi emocionante. Mas só Without You I'm Nothing me fez derramar umas lágrimas furtivas, como sempre faz. Brian Molko continua imbatível, lindo, afetado, sexy, delicioso. Curiosamente ainda não está completamente careca. A interação da banda com a platéia é sempre escassa, mas eles foram simpáticos de qualquer forma.

E a música. Eu fechava os olhos e lembrava de tudo, tudo desde 2000 quando eu ouvi Nancy Boy pela primeira vez (bem atrasada). Arrancam suspiros de mim ainda, apesar dos anos. Não são mais os meninos in drag, ainda bem. Continuam a minha banda favorita, aquela do coração.
